On my way to the future

I’m on my way to the future, he said & I said “But you’re just sitting there listening” & he smiled & said, “It’s harder than you’d think, with all the noise everyone else is making”.

So, I breathed again. I began to listen.

I looked around at the beautiful day and remembered that these things I worried about were all very small in the greater scheme of life.

“Ok, God, you’re in charge. What shall I do next?”

”Just look to your future.”

Human challenges come and go. Some are bigger than others. Some take a long time to heal or fix. Some change lives permanently. Yet there is always a silver lining.

What I know for sure though, is the challenges I’ve faced over the years have all taught me that when I don’t know how, God does.

When I can’t figure something out, a higher intelligence is there doing it for me. When I don’t know who to call, I will be guided. I no longer ever feel alone. The entire universe is coordinated and cares about my needs. I know that now. I know how to ‘get out of the way’. The universe cares about your needs too.

Sometimes we just have to relinquish control over how life looks. Sometimes we have to dig deep and find faith and trust that everything works for the better.

Even in the midst of circumstances that don’t look all neat and tidy and wonderful, it is possible to experience a beautiful reality in which you truly tap into and feel the love that is always there, and receive the guidance that is ever present.

What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t even happened yet.

Our beautiful futures are waiting.
